Menomonee Falls, Wis. — Dynamic Tool Corp. officials have purchased a former Kohl's Corp. credit and customer service facility in Menomonee Falls for $4.3 million.
However, the manufacturer of plastic injection molds for the packaging, personal care and health care industries isn't saying anything about its plans.
The real estate transaction, which was reported by local media, says the property, with 405 parking spaces and two loading docks, was assessed at $5.85 million, citing a listing document.
About 500 Kohl's employees had worked at the site. They moved to the company's corporate headquarters, which is also in Menomonee Falls.
Kohl's decided to close the facility in March 2021, a Kohl's spokeswoman, Jen Johnson, told the Milwaukee Business Journal.
"As the future of work and physical workspaces evolves, Kohl's continues to evaluate its workplace accommodations to increase flexibility for associates, increase collaboration amongst teams and drive operational efficiencies in its physical footprint," Johnson said.
Phone calls and emails to a Dynamic Tool spokeswoman were not returned.
